What an amazing place! Sarah was away on business, but she had the wonderful Julie to greet us and make us feel at home during our stay. The decor in the casita is perfect, the pool and back yard are superb for relaxing, and the neighborhood is quiet and super convenient. Sarah is a fantastic communicator, and we are so grateful she was able to accommodate us at such a last minute. Awesome stay, and I highly recommend.

I had an amazing time in las casitas, excellent place for relaxing next to the pool. They were more than willing to accommodate us, host wasn't there, but there is staff and people taking care of everything. Would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Great beach getaway.

Beautiful yard & amenities! Its a little piece of paradise.  We really enjoyed our stay at Sarah's place. Our plan had been to check out the area for the 2 days we were there. But because we had such an enjoyable time at Sarah's between the amenities and hanging out with the other guests we never left except once to hit the beach. The pool is just perfectly designed to hang out and enjoy the amazing Panama weather with cold beverages. Sarah was super attentive and helpful from beginning to the end. She was away so we didn't get to meet her but we still had great communication and answers to any of our questions. The shuttles that Sarah coordinated from/to Panama city were so great. The drivers are very friendly and super professional. Both spoke English and were very helpful. You definitely will enjoy your stay at Sarah's place!

Nothing but wonderful accolades for Sarah Jane's Casitas. My husband I spent the most relaxing two days in Coronado Beach. The pictures do not do the property justice. It is simply wonderful. Sarah Jane goes out of her way to make you feel at home- like family. Stay for a day, a week, a month - she welcomes all. The Casitas are better than staying at a hotel and if you're looking for a more relaxed- at home stay while in Coronado Beach then the Casitas/ Sarah Jane's place is for you. The Casitas amenities include a full kitchen with all one will need to cook meals. However there are many wonderful restaurants very close by. The beach is minutes away from her home and very private. We will be back!

Sarah's casitas are everything she describes and more. The environment is safe and clean, the pool is one of the best we've found in our travels, and the hosts provide what you would expect from a Superhost with some additional and personal touches. The area features several first-rate restaurants, near-by beaches of beautiful black and natural sands, and readily-available and reasonably-priced transportation for both local and intercity destinations. We found the area walkable and secure both day and night. Those with mobility issues might consider that there are short stretches of uneven and unpaved road that may need to be navigated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the opportunity to meet fellow travellers occupying Sarah's other casitas.

We stayed in Casita 2 for a full week. The room is very clean and meets western world standards. The A/C worked wonderfully and it never got too hot in our room. Sarah's garden is beautifully decorated with local Plants and trees. The pool, a welcome refreshment on warm days, was kept very clean and enjoyable. The grocery is a bit far away, best to take a cab. But once you have all your groceries, the kitchen will sport anything you need to prepare the most wonderful food. It's about a 5 minute walk to the beach. It is a beautiful long stretch of black-white sand and the water is warm. Overall, this was a perfect spot to relax and do almost nothing for a week. Sarah (the host) was not there herself but she was very responsive and her housekeeper also always helpful. We recommend this place!

I normally stay at her beachfront condo, but this time I decided to stay at her casitas. Being a solo traveler, Sarah took me to some social occasions, but best of all introduced me to Pickleball. We went to all 3 of her clubs, mainly the one only a block away from casitas, the Coronado Pickleball Club, where normally you have to be a member, but I was welcomed as Sarah's guest. I met some fabulous expats and locals and had a wonderful time. Not being much into sports, I cannot believe I am saying this, but am now addicted to Pickleball. Thanks to Sarah and all her amigos who treated me like family. No question I’ll be back!

My husband and I stayed at Panama Sarah’s Casitas for 5 nights in Feb 2018 and it was so nice and relaxing. The backyard yard has a pool, hammocks, ping pong table, lounge chairs, and a BBQ grill for use. There are also many little seating areas scattered about the premises in case you want to read a book or just take a little siesta. The beach is an 8-10 minute walk from the Casitas. You are also a 10-12 minute walk from Picasso Bar & Restaurant, a pizza restaurant, and little mini mart too. The Casita we stayed in was Casita Gaviota. It was cozy, comfortable and very clean. Perfect size for a couple. Loved the art work and decor! The kitchenette has a full size fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, blender, dishes/utensils, and sufficient pots and pans for most meals. There is A/C, flat screen tv, and reliable Wi-Fi. The water pressure in the shower is very good too. We also liked that our front porch had a couple of adirondeck rocking chairs and table that was perfect for morning coffee and relaxing in the evening with cocktails. Do get a rental car though in order to explore other nearby sites within the Coronado area. Sarah can help with rental cars and also a great wealth of information regarding which sites to see or visit. Sarah and Scotty are great hosts. They are nice, located onsite, and provide great customer service! On their recommendation we did a few day trips which was great (El Valle and Playa Santa Clara). What was also fun is that Sarah and Scotty sometimes organize movie nights outside around the pool for guests. Very fun and a nice way to meet some of the other guests too. Fully recommend Sarah’s Casitas!!

Thank you Sarah for a thoroughly enjoyable stay at your Casitas in Coronado. Our trip to Coronado from Tocumen Airport was excellent. We took your advice and used Coronado Services. Our driver, Elvis, was very accommodating and we appreciated the grocery stop at El Rey's supermercado. Diana was there to greet us on our arrival and we enjoyed her friendly smile and helpfulness. We rented the golf cart our first week which was a fun way to get to the restaurants, beach and groceries. Tortuga, our Casita, was comfortable, clean and well equipped for our stay. The grounds and swimming pool were great and provided a social hub for the guests. It really was an oasis for relaxation. Sarah, thanks so much for facilitating our extended winter stay in Panama. The newly renovated Casita Tortuga met all our needs and the other guests staying there were very helpful in introducing us to the area and all the local expats. “If you’re looking for a truly relaxing location, you have to stay here, because the pool and surrounding gardens are fabulous and the casitas are clean and comfy. We stayed in Casita Tortuga, the newest, and it’s bed was comfy, the bathroom and shower clean and spacious, and the flat screen TV with cable sharp and reliable. We could actually imagine living in Tortuga. Our casita has a door to a fully furnished kitchen — microwave, coffee maker, stove and oven, large refrigerator, double sink, and plates, glasses, cutlery, and silverware.. I’m sitting at a table that seats six comfortably on the outdoor porch that overlooks the garden and pool. It’s a bit of heaven here. The wifi is reliable and robust. In fact, I’m sitting outside writing this review listening to the doves coo. We stayed in a variety of places, from a four star hotel to a backpackers hostel, but this was our favorite place during our three week visit to Panama.”

She has really introduced us to quite a few folks at various get togethers. We love it so much that we extended for another week. “My husband and I just spent 4 weeks at a great casita in Coronado, Panama. Our “Casa Tortuga” was clean, bright and had everything we needed. The property is large and full of many different tropical trees, plants and colourful flowers. The pool is big, very inviting and we spent many an afternoon lazing around on rafts and noodles…ha ha. The beach is a short walk with easy public access and you can walk in either direction forever. (also very quiet so if you’re looking for “action”, maybe not the place for you) Coronado itself is a small, very friendly community. Many expats gather at the local pub, Picasso’s, on Wed. for Happy Hour and again on Sat. for live music. The place is packed and we met many helpful people. Grocery shopping is not an issue even if you don’t have a car. For .35 cents you can catch a shuttle one way or a cab will set you back maybe $3. We were fortunate enough to rent a golf cart and had a blast zipping around with it. (and you can park that sucker anywhere!) I can’t comment on tours or restaurants as we stuck to home pretty much, but that was simply our choice. There are many restaurants that each have their specialty, all within walking distance. I must admit the absolute BEST aspect of our stay was our hostess, Sarah. (sorry, kiddo, I can’t say enough about you!) She helped set me up with my laptop as well as programming phone cards into the cell phones she provides with each casita. (I am not technically inclined) Always eager to help and answer questions. Her guests come first and she is more than accommodating. Sarah is a very busy woman and yet she took the time to show us various properties for sale for our future retirement someday. (very enlightening I must say) I was able to putter around her gardens, plant some herbs, and my husband did the odd “manly” job around her house. She also set him up with a golf membership for the month as that is his passion. We were also able to share several meals with Sarah and it was nice to see her relax once in a while. This may sound corny, but I believe we have made a friend for life! The other guests were the perfect topper to our month. The huge table under the covered patio provided the perfect setting for us to gather for meals, or even our own little happy Hour. Pot-lucks were very popular as everyone had something different to bring to the table and share. If that isn’t your thing…no feelings are hurt. Love you, Sarita!”

We were very pleased with our stay at casita Toucan. The casita was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed with the necessary utensils and appliances. The pool area was a hidden oasis with various greenery and beautiful flowering shrubbery. Next to the pool was a gazebo that had a table to sit protected from the direct sun and also a grill which we could use which we did grill some wonderful pork chops from the Rey grocery store. The pool was the nicest feature of the property which allowed us to cool-off and a nice social area to meet and chat with other casita guests.  Sarah was a very gracious host. She communicated well when certain events were occurring around the property. She was very conscientious about trying to minimizing any interruptions with her casita guests when certain property maintenance tasks needed to be completed. I did appreciate Sarah taking the time to show various properties around Coronado. We were interested in evaluating properties around Coronado which Sarah assisted us greatly by taking the time to show various types of properties (i.e. hi-rise, condo, single family, etc.).   Since the casita was only a few blocks from the beach we enjoyed walking the beach. Beach was a mixture of black volcanic sand with layers of lighter brown sand. It was very enjoyable to walk the beach in the morning before the sun got too hot.  Sarah also provided a temporary pass to the local golf club. The facilities are first class at the golf club especially the pool area. The beach club (near the beach) part had a great view of the beach from the pool, a very relaxing atmosphere. The golf club does provide a shuttle service between the golf club and the beach property if a person does not have the desire or energy to walk back.  There are four restaurants within a short distance from the casita’s. We found most of the restaurants to be pretty good. To get to the grocery stores and the other shopping centers I would suggest getting a taxi or renting a car. Sarah also has a golf cart that she rents for those individuals that may not need transportation for the whole stay.  We enjoyed our stay at casita Toucan and would not hesitate to stay at Sarah’s casita’s in the future.  Thank you Sarah.

Casa Toucan was the perfect place for me! I stayed for 3 months to get a feel for the area and loved Sarah's property. It's right in the heart of Coronado – just a short walk to the ocean, yoga class, golf and a happy hour bar called Picasso. (good to have a car, tho’) Sarah is a great host and made me feel very welcome. If there was anything I needed, she went out of her way to accommodate. My unit was clean and the kitchen well stocked. The backyard pool and patios are a highlight -- very peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. Often there were other guests on the property making for fun gatherings on the back patio. The caretakers are very sweet and helpful. Great place at a very reasonable price!

“I FOUND PARADISE IN CORONADO! We stayed at Panama Sarah’s Casita in May , 2014 and we could not be happier. We wanted to spend a few days outside of the city and enjoy the beaches of Coronado, but once we arrived any thought of going to the beach faded away. Sarah’s casitas are well laid out with a large bed, flat screen tv, cable, split a/c (not that you’ll need it). We had a full kitchen complete with a large refrigerator and freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and pantry. The ground of the property are manicured beautifully. When you walk through the covered walk way the back yard opens up into a breathtaking oasis. The first thing that catches your eye is the deliciously looking swimming pool, equipped with waterfall and two large umbrellas in case the mid day sun gets to be a bit much. Every where you look there are different types of blooming flowers lining the patio, the fence line, and surrounding the pool area. We even saw a few hummingbirds feeding from some of the hibiscus flowers. I almost forgot to mention the hammocks that swallowed me for a couple afternoon siestas. Even after all of this the absolute delight of our stay was Sarah herself, her level hospitality is something everybody should strive to achieve. Sarah made us feel like old friends from the moment we entered and we knew this was our home for the next few days. Sarah knew when to give us our space and when to start a conversation. She was a wealth of knowledge of the surrounding areas and was able to offer us some advice on the local restaurants. We will 100% be coming back and you should not hesitate to book this place as soon as possible!”

Sarahs casitas are amazinggg. This was our first getaway after COVID and I’m so glad we picked this place. The casita we picked was the smallest, yet still managed to have everything needed. Starting with the bathroom, this is one of the best showers I’ve had while traveling because of pressure and control of temperature. Both bath and beach towels are provided which is so nice. The bath towels were really soft 🙂  The bedroom was small, but had some really nice closet space so it didn’t feel small. The TV had cable but we ended up plugging in our Fire TV and watching stuff with the WiFi The kitchen has everything you could possibly need in terms of gadgets (we didn’t eat out at all for 4 days so we really put it to test). It was super nice to be able to cook and then eat in the small seating area outside Okay now for the beeessst part: the pool! The pool is incredible, it’s pretty big and we were comfortably in it with another small family, all while social distancing. Speaking of, there are so many different areas to sit throughout the place from high chairs to lounge chairs to hammocks (please take at least one nap there) and proper dining tables. Just take your pick! This was great because even though the place was fully booked, it never felt crowded or unsafe. There’s just much space!  Lastly, this trip was also special to us because it was our first trip with our puppy who is very hyperactive and full of energy. The place was great because it is completely fenced up and, again, a lot of space for her to run around and even sometimes play with the other doggies on site Hope this puts any doubts you may be having about booking to rest and if you’re still thinking about it, do yourself a favor and book 🙂

I loved staying in Casitas Sarah. It was very quiet, private, relaxing...exactly what I needed. Casita was cleaned and comfortable with everything you need, even some coffee and ice. I had a lovely time with my dog Cindy who played with Papi. We also went for a walk at the beach and the surroundings. I'll definitely come back for more peaceful relaxing time. The pool was completely mine during those days :). I went during the week, no idea how it is on weekends but people told me it is pretty quite too. Me encantó el lugar, fui con mi perrita y la pasamos genial. Volveremos pronto. Super recomendado si quieres desconectarte del stress de la ciudad y solo relajarte. Solo debes llevar lo que deseas comer y listo. También hay donde comer cerca, como a 5 cuadras. Volveremos!!! So Nice to find Pet Friendly places! Birgitta - November 2018 We've had an absolutely memorable stay in Casa Rana at Sarah's, for all the right reasons - amazing hosts Sarah and Scott, a lovingly created oasis with everything you can wish for, cute, cozy and clean casitas in a great area, close to the ocean and all amenities, a wonderful swimming pool with waterfall and areas to sit either as a group or by yourself and, on top of it all, really great fellow guests who became our friends, as did Sarah and Scott. We can't wait to return!

May 2018 On our first experience in Panama we couldn't have been luckier than finding Sarah and her properties. The facilities were well kept and the hostess was very attentive to our needs and wants. The location is just a short walk from the ocean and the beach is a great place to sit and watch the breakers come into the shore. A five minute drive or less will bring you to grocery shopping and restaurants on those day when you prefer to eat out. All in all we had a very enjoyable and relaxing time in this Coronado property.

January 2018 Beautiful outdoor space and extremely relaxing! The local beach is within walking distance and is quiet, has great sunsets and the black sand is gorgeous. Sarah was very helpful with travel tips on locations and timing our drives. Great location to easily travel elsewhere or to just kick back and relax. I would definitely consider staying there again!

Our family was looking to spend a weekend outside the city in a quiet and warm place, fleeing from the typical hotels, it turned out that we got a wonderful, cozy, clean, very well decorated place, with all the accessories to entertain you inside or outside the room, with nature, quiet, with a super hostess and excellent guests in the place.
